The TER will cover the 36 km between Dakar and the new city of Diamniadio in about 20 minutes, through the suburbs, a stretch on which users lose several hours.

Le Train Express Régional (TER) a abrégé ce mardi la vie d’une personne. Il a causé un accident à hauteur de Keur Mbaye Fall, entraînant son immobilisation momentanée.
Selon Senego, l’incident s’est produit alors que le TER, en trajet de Dakar à Diamniadio, a heurté une personne sur la voie. L’accident a nécessité l’arrêt du train dans cette zone, permettant aux autorités, notamment les gendarmes et les sapeurs-pompiers, d’intervenir pour les constats d’usage.
Jusqu’à présent, aucune information n’a été divulguée concernant la victime. Les passagers, tout comme notre source, sont actuellement bloqués à bord du TER, attendant la levée de cette immobilisation inattendue.
